Calibred is a story I've been developing for about twenty years. It is a labor of love and everyday I work on expanding the universe a little bit more. Calibred: Orientation Day is the Introduction Book. It focuses on a few of the key characters that will have a bigger role in the series. It also sheds some light onto the background of the world and some key abilities as well! :)
THE MAIN CAST
Age: 15
The youngest *adopted* son of Yosh He was kidnapped as a youth and raised by The Dred Clan for a time. He was rescued by Arc sometime later but still finds himself having horrible nightmares...of both past and future events.
Age: 16
Loyal Apprentice to the Master of The Floating Island Chapel-D, Chalstolce Macabre Roman only attends Yosh's School for the Free Arts at his Master's request to find the identity of the Black Ninjak.
Age: 15
Weaponist Apprentice Blademen is a traveling swordmaker with no formal training in either swordfighting or free arts. He eventually ends up conning his way into a free scholarship at The School of the Free Arts and befriending Kennoth.
Age: 17
Son of Samson Shinobi is an arrogant and skilled fighter who is in his third year at the Free Arts Academy. His best friend is Cedric and they get into all kinds of trouble together. At this point in the series, No child has been able to lay a hand on him.
Age: 16
The youngest son of King Weber Hasho's training started very young. Hasho leaves to join Yosh's School for the Free Arts against his father's will...he wants to use the Southern Lights fighting style which is forbidden in The House of Weber. Hasho fights with a huge sword that doubles as a shield.
Age: 15
The Rookie Rich is a very introverted boy who oftentimes finds himself living in the shadow of his big brother Shinobi. He has advanced weapons skills (including sword training). He is not really a hand to hand fighter but can hold his own.
Age: 16
Guardian Apprentice Zack is a Student at the Free Arts Academy and a House Guardian in training. Once done with school, he will join the Last House of Weber as a Guardian there.

General Seth Gate's Son Quose is the leader and trainer of the Seth Gate Army Covert Ops Team code-named - Soldier's Army. He spends his days training soldiers and capturing and torturing enemies of the Gate Empire.

Kendo Rip's eldest son Sam is a Northern Lights Master and Creator of the most lethal Lights attack. NSD! (Never Say Die).
Age: 15
Kendo Rip's youngest son Chuck has trained under his father for the last 9 years and is attending The Free Arts Academy as a first year Student. He idolizes his brother's Lights abilities but is forbidden to learn it by his father. He fights in the stagger stance.
Age: 17
Armorist Apprentice Cedric is a transfer student from Lords who is attending The Free Arts Academy. He trains directly under Samson and usually can be found getting into trouble with Shinobi.
Age: 16
The oldest *biological* son of Yosh Bernard is a skilled fighter who won the IronSides Fighting tournament on 3 separate occasions.
